Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Wyoming and WRN South Dakota
National Weather Service Rapid City SD
222 AM MDT Fri Jul 19 2024

.DISCUSSION...Near average temperatures are expected through this
weekend into early next week. Scattered thunderstorms will be found
across the area today, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms
Saturday through Monday. An upper level ridge will bring hot
and dry conditions for the last of of next week, leading to periods
of elevated fire weather conditions. There is some potential for
windy areas late in the week which could result in critical fire
weather conditions.
