458 FNUS53 KUNR 200827 FWFUNR Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Wyoming and WRN South Dakota National Weather Service Rapid City SD 227 AM MDT Sat Jul 20 2024 .DISCUSSION...Warm temperatures will continue through Monday with isolated thunderstorms. An upper level ridge will bring hot temperatures by mid week with the upper ridge breaking down Thursday/Friday. A cold front should move through late in the week...with some uncertainty as to the timing of the cold front. However, the pre-frontal environment will be hot and dry with some locally windy conditions possible. This will result in elevated to critical fire weather conditions, especially across northeastern Wyoming and far western South Dakota.
