AREA...Eastern Oklahoma. ONSET...After midnight. DISCUSSION... Most shower and thunderstorm activity has dissipated across eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas late this afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible through the evening with showers and storms becoming more widespread overnight. A few of the storms could become strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail the main concern. Locally heavy rains will also be a concern as we move through the overnight hours. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. MONDAY AND TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential. WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...No Hazards. SATURDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... The remnants of "Beryl" are expected to impact parts of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas Monday and Tuesday. Heavy rainfall will be the main concern, especially across the eastern half of the forecast area.
