At 728 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly west of a
Tulsa to McAlester line, also north of I44 and east of highway 75,
also south of I44 and east of the Muskogee Turnpike. Thunderstorms
with locally heavy rain were located in Okmulgee, Mcintosh and
Okfuskee counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at around 15
mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was one tenth to
one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of two to two and a half
inches. Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for this evening, mostly cloudy, showers and
thunderstorms likely. Some thunderstorms may be severe .

with locally heavy rain were located in Okmulgee, Mcintosh and
Okfuskee counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at around 15
mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was one tenth to
one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of two to two and a half
inches. Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The
Fort Smith area forecast for this evening, partly cloudy then
becoming mostly cloudy, showers and thunderstorms likely with
temperatures 82 to 96 decreasing to 79 to 85 degrees and west winds
up to 5 mph.
