At 926 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly east of a
line from Bartlesville to McAlester. Thunderstorms with locally
heavy rain were located in Haskell and Ottawa counties in Oklahoma
and Benton county in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Tulsa
and Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville areas. Movement was to the
southeast at around 15 mph. The average amount where it rained last
hour was around one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an
inch and a half to two inches. Coverage and intensity remained about
the same as last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this evening
and into overnight, mostly cloudy, showers and thunderstorms likely
with temperatures 75 to 83 degrees and south winds up to 10 mph
shifting to the north.
