...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN OSAGE...COFFEY AND
SOUTHEASTERN LYON COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM CDT...

At 717 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Neosho Rapids to 6 miles northwest of Gridley.
Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Burlington, Lebo, Waverly, New Strawn, Melvern, Hartford, Neosho
Rapids, Olivet, Beto Junction, John Redmond Reservoir, and Melvern
Lake.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 136 and 164.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
east central Kansas.
