...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTY
THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 818 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Valley Falls, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Valley Falls and Nortonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
east central Kansas.
