This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Kansas, east central
Kansas, north central Kansas and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to move across the area
tonight. A few damaging wind gusts could occur, especially in central
portions of the state. Heavy rainfall is also possible, particularly
in parts of east central Kansas.

There is a 40 to 60 percent chance for thunderstorm development
along a cold front in eastern Kansas Thursday afternoon and early
evening, mainly along and southeast of the Kansas Turnpike. If
storms form, damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall will be the main
hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

Weather spotters are encouraged to relay reports of hail, damaging
wind, tornadoes and flooding.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to move across the area
tonight. A few damaging wind gusts could occur, especially in central
portions of the state. Heavy rainfall and flash flooding is also
possible, particularly in parts of east central Kansas where one to
three inches of rain is likely.

There is a 40 to 60 percent chance for thunderstorm development
along a cold front in eastern Kansas Thursday afternoon and early
evening, mainly along and southeast of the Kansas Turnpike. If
storms form, damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall will be the main
hazards.
