Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
323 AM MDT Fri Jul 5 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon and again Saturday as a series a mainly weak weather
disturbances move across the region under a northwest flow aloft.
Showers and storms today will primarily be focused across the
north-central Montana plains with more widespread coverage across
all districts on Saturday. Temperatures remain near to slightly
below seasonal averages through Saturday before warmer and drier
conditions develop early next week. Look for accelerated warming
and drying mid to late next week as upper level high pressure
shifts across the region. Hoenisch
