...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MANATEE COUNTY THROUGH
730 PM EDT...

At 655 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lakewood Ranch, or 14 miles northeast of Sarasota. This thunderstorm
was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Manatee State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
