.DISCUSSION...High pressure will be over Utah today and tomorrow,
but monsoonal moisture trapped in the ridge will provide fuels for
showers and thunderstorms. Chances of wetting rains will be
limited, but any storms that develop will be capable of producing
gusty and erratic downburst winds. Outside of thunderstorms, winds
will be light to moderate out of the west to southwest. An
approaching trough will draw additional moisture northward for
Monday, resulting in more widespread coverage of convection with
an increasing chance of wetting rainfall.
