.SYNOPSIS...
Drying will continue into Thursday, followed by a gradual increase
in monsoonal moisture peaking early next week with more afternoon
clouds over the mountains. For the mountains and deserts, there
will be a very slow warming trend into early next week. For the
coast and valleys, there will be minor day to day changes in high
temperatures through Saturday followed by a warming trend for
Sunday through Tuesday of next week. Night and morning coastal low
clouds will spread locally into the far western valleys late each
night with the low clouds becoming patchier near the coast for
early next week.

COUNTIES...

.SHORT TERM (Today through Thursday)...
The precipitable water for the NKX sounding from late Monday
afternoon had decreased to 1.3 inch with drying of the monsoonal
moisture expected to continue into Thursday. Through Thursday,
there will be minor day to day changes in high temperatures for
the coast and valleys with a very slow warming trend for the
mountains and deserts with minor day to day changes. Night and
morning coastal low clouds will spread inland as far as the far
western valleys at times late each night.

.LONG TERM (Friday through Monday)...
There will be a gradual increase in monsoonal moisture for next
weekend into early next week. Even with the increase in monsoonal
moisture, NBM daily chances for measurable rainfall for Big Bear
only increase to 12 percent for Monday and 13 percent for
Tuesday. More clouds are expected over the mountains in the
afternoons by early next week.

A very slow warming trend will continue for the mountains and
deserts with a warming trend for the coast and valleys for Sunday
through Tuesday. Night and morning coastal low clouds will become
patchier near the coast by early next week.

.AVIATION...
130900Z...Coast/Valleys...Patchy low clouds with bases 900-1200 ft
MSL and tops to about 1400 ft MSL will continue to become more
uniform tonight, spreading as far as 10-15 miles inland by 14Z.
Local reduced vis to 3-5 SM expected over higher coastal terrain
where low clouds intersect with the terrain. Clouds clearing to the
beaches 15Z-18Z. Low clouds with bases 800-1100 ft MSL developing
again Tue evening and moving into coastal sites around 04Z-07Z.

Mountains/Deserts...Mostly clear with unrestricted VIS through
Wed morning.
