...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Missouri, including
  the following counties, in central Missouri, Benton, Camden,
  Miller and Morgan. In west central Missouri, St. Clair.

* WHEN...Until 830 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 229 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    Deer Creek at Highway V, Saline Creek at Square Line Road,
    Rocky Ford Creek at Ritchey Road, Knobby Creek at Highway DD,
    Richland Creek at Blue Bird Road, Blue Springs Creek at
    Highway Z and Big Buffalo Creek at Highway WW.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Eldon, Versailles, Warsaw, Village of Four Seasons, Lake
    Ozark, Lincoln, Cole Camp, Stover, Laurie, Barnett,
    Tuscumbia, Gravois Mills, Olean, Bagnell, Zora, Crockerville,
    Lakeview Heights, Hastain, Edmonson, Rocky Mount,
    Whitakerville, Aurora Springs, Palo Pinto, Racket,
    Etterville, Lake of The Ozarks, Truman Lake and Truman State
    Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
