IN SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA...SOUTHWESTERN BATH AND NORTHWESTERN
BOTETOURT COUNTIES IN WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA...SOUTHEASTERN GREENBRIER
AND NORTHEASTERN MONROE COUNTIES IN SOUTHEASTERN WEST VIRGINIA AND
THE CITY OF COVINGTON THROUGH 445 PM EDT...

At 406 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Lewisburg, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.  Heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.  Runoff from the heavy rain may wash
         debris onto the highway from roadside ditches.

White Sulphur Springs...
Ronceverte...
and Paint Bank.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A torrential downpour of rain is expected with these storms. This
may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
