...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ALAMANCE...
SOUTHEASTERN FORSYTH...NORTHERN DAVIDSON...NORTHWESTERN RANDOLPH AND
GUILFORD COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...

At 720 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Monroeton to near Kernersville to near
Clemmons. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Burlington, Lexington,
Thomasville, Kernersville, Clemmons, Elon, and McLeansville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
