This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

An isolated strong to severe thunderstorm will be possible over the
southern Interstate 25 corridor this afternoon and evening with
the main risks being 1 inch diameter hail, 60 mph wind gusts, and
dangerous cloud to ground lightning.

A few thunderstorms may also be possible over the Palmer Divide
region this afternoon and evening with lightning being the main
risk.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each
afternoon. The main hazards from storms will be gusty outflow
winds, lightning, and hail. Storms that produce heavy rainfall
could lead to flash flooding concerns over burn scars and other
vulnerable areas.

There is a chance for stronger thunderstorms along the eastern
border late Saturday afternoon and evening, with the main threats
being wind gusts of 55 to 60 mph and hail up to 1 inch in
diameter.

The areas with the best potential for thunderstorm development
will be across the eastern mountains and plains on Sunday, then
across the mountains and high valleys for Monday through Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be possible over portions of the region.
