Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
904 AM MDT Thu Jul 18 2024

.Discussion...

A cooler and wetter pattern will continue through Friday across
the district with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms over
the mountains, spreading off into the southeast plains during the
evening hours. Locally heavy rainfall, hail, and strong outflow
winds will be possible with the stronger storms. The cooler than
normal weather pattern will persist into early next week.
Thunderstorm chances will remain high over and near the mountains
each day where a continued risk of locally heavy rainfall will
remain each day.

Smoke dispersion is expected to be fair to very good across the
area today and Friday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
