230 FNUS76 KPDT 140051 FWSPDT Spot Forecast for Wolf Fork...SEWA IMT National Weather Service Pendleton OR 551 PM PDT Tue Aug 13 2024 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0600 PDT on August 14. ***Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds*** ***Winds are 20 foot 10-minute averages*** ***CWR-Chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater*** If you have questions or concerns with this forecast, please contact our office at (541) 276-8134. .DISCUSSION...Westerly flow expected to persist through Wednesday but by Thursday a new low pressure system will be moving into the region causing flow to shift and become low overnight into Thursday before westerlies then return. This system will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, and current expectations are that moisture with these storms will be plentiful and will help limit critical fire starts from lightning.
