Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
143 PM PDT Wed Jul 3 2024

.DISCUSSION...Locally breezy winds through the Cascade gaps and
the Kittitas Valley are expected this late this afternoon and
evening, though not overlapping with critically low RH. For the
remainder of the week, a strong upper-level ridge will build
upstream of the forecast area. Subsequently, it will move
overhead late this weekend through the middle of next week. This
will promote low daytime RH, poor overnight recovery, hot
temperatures, and light breezes/terrain driven winds Friday
through next Wednesday.
