...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN PERRY AND
NORTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 500 AM CDT...

At 437 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Elkville, or near Du Quoin, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Du Quoin, Elkville, Dowell, Vergennes, and St. Johns.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
