Where: Chelan and Pend Oreille counties in Washington. Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai, Shoshone, Benewah, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce counties in Idaho. When: Beginning Sunday evening along the crest of the Cascades and moving into eastern Washington and the Idaho Panhandle Monday morning. What: Moderate rainfall leading to rises on area creeks, streams, rivers and lakes. Monday morning rainfall could be locally heavy, especially across Idaho. There is low confidence of the potential for isolated rock or mud slides. The rain will largely be beneficial to the parched region. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches at the crest of the Cascades and mountains of northeast Washington and the Idaho Panhandle is currently forecast.
