.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Beryl is near 22.2N 91.3W at 5 AM
EDT, and is moving west-northwest at 10 kt. Maximum sustained
winds are 50 kt with gusts to 60 kt, and the minimum central
pressure is 1001 mb. Beryl will continue to move farther from the
NW Caribbean today. Conditions will continue to improve across
the NW basin. Meanwhile, a surge of fresh to strong winds, rough
seas, and numerous squalls will move across the central Caribbean
today associated with a strong tropical wave. Fresh to strong E
to SE winds and rough seas will then prevail across much of the
central and NW Caribbean this weekend and into early next week.
