New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure over the area
early today will slowly shift NE of the region later today and
tonight while maintaining a weakening ridge westward across the
waters. The weak ridge will drift N of the region Sun and Sun
night as Hurricane Ernesto passes SE and then E of the waters.
Long period SE swell from Ernesto will move into the area today,
and continue into Mon night. See the latest National Hurricane

Otherwise, a cold front will approach from the W Sun night into
Mon, move offshore later Mon into Tue, and then slowly pass E of
the waters Tue night. High pressure will build E over New England
Wed and Wed night.
