.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weakening high pressure
ridge will persist across the waters into tonight as Tropical
Storm Ernesto passes SE and then E of the waters and once again
becomes a hurricane. Long period SE swell from Ernesto will move

information. A cold front will reach the coast Mon, and move
offshore Mon night into Tue, with a weak area of low pressure
developing along the front in the Gulf of Maine. The front will
move E of the waters Tue night as the low lifts NE into the Gulf
of Saint Lawrence. A weak low pressure trough will pass E across
the area late Wed or Wed night, followed by high pressure
building E across the S waters Thu and Thu night.
