offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weakening ridge across the
waters this evening will shift E on Mon as Tropical Storm Ernesto
passes well E of the waters while restrengthening into a
hurricane. Long period E swell from Ernesto will continue across
the waters through Mon night. See the latest National Hurricane
Center advisory on Ernesto for more information. A cold front
will reach the coast Mon, and move offshore Mon night into Tue,
with a weak area of low pressure developing along the front in
the Gulf of Maine. The front will move E of the waters Tue night
as the low lifts NE into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. A series of
weak troughs will pass E across the northern waters late Wed
through Fri night while high pressure slowly builds E across the
S waters.
