New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A front will remain nearly
stationary over the area tonight through early Fri night as weak
lows move along the front. The front should move just S of the
area late Fri night and Sat as weak high pressure builds over
the waters. The high remains through Sat night, gradually
shifting late Sat night and Sun as low pressure develops along
the front just to the S of the area, and moves NE. The low should
be just S of the waters Sun and Sun night, passing E of the area
Mon. Weak high pressure builds in again for Mon night.

Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line

.TONIGHT...E to NE winds less than 10 kt, becoming variable,
then, becoming E to NE. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and
slight chance of tstms. Areas of fog with vsby 1 nm or less.
.THU...E winds 5 to 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to
4 ft. Numerous showers and scattered tstms. Areas of fog with
vsby 1 nm or less.
.THU NIGHT...E winds 5 to 15 kt, becoming SW. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Numerous showers and isolated tstms diminishing. Areas of fog
with vsby 1 nm or less.
.FRI...W to SW winds 5 to 15 kt, becoming N to NW. Seas 3
to 4 ft. Areas of fog early with vsby 1 nm or less.
.FRI NIGHT...S to SW winds less than 10 kt, becoming W to SW.
