.DISCUSSION...A significant heat wave continues with temperatures
remaining well above average through the week. An Excessive Heat
Warning has been issued through next Wednesday night (07/10/24)
along with a Red Flag warning until Saturday evening.
Temperatures are expected to get into the mid 90s to 102 degrees.
Be sure to abide by heat safety protocols and encourage
individuals to stay hydrated with plenty of water and
electrolytes. Tomorrow, relative humidity values only improve
slightly up to 21-25 percent. Thursday night, humidity recoveries
will generally be poor with Friday drying into the upper teens to
low twenties. Winds will be generally be out of the west with
gusts up to 15 mph through the forecast period.
