.DISCUSSION...A significant heat wave arrives today with temperatures
remaining well above average through the week. An Excessive Heat
Warning has been issued through next Tuesday night (07/09/24).
Temperatures are expected to get into the high 90s/low 100s. Be
sure to abide by heat safety protocols and encourage individuals
to stay hydrated with plenty of water and electrolytes. Tomorrow
night, expect even warmer conditions with minimum temperatures
only falling into the low 60s.
