The ongoing heat wave will begin to peak today for the southern half of the area with highs well above 110 and extremely dry RH below 10 percent. Strong northeast winds gusting up to 25 mph along the rim of the Sacramento Valley will continue to bring critical fire weather conditions to southeast Lake County through the evening today before calming. Similar though more isolated northeast winds can be expected each night over high terrain through Thursday, especially in the the Klamath Mountains. With such dry conditions, even gentle terrain winds will promote periods of critical fire weather each afternoon, especially within wind channeled valleys. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-040000- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 451 AM PDT Wed Jul 3 2024 Red Flag Warnings remain in effect for high elevations of the North Bay, East Bay, and the Santa Cruz Mountains.
