Showers and thunderstorms across the northern counties of East Tennessee into southwest Virginia may contain a strong to low end severe gust this afternoon to early evening, though storm intensity and coverage should diminish or dissipate after sunset. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Additional showers and thunderstorms can be expected Friday into Friday night. A few of these storms may become strong to marginally severe especially Friday afternoon into early evening, with damaging wind gusts the primary threat. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
