CROIX COUNTY THROUGH 1245 AM CDT... At 1210 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Somerset, or 15 miles north of River Falls, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... New Richmond, Somerset, Baldwin, Woodville, Forest, Emerald, Cylon, Deer Park, Boardman, Willow River State Park, Burkhardt, and Hersey. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
