Dry conditions with southwesterly winds continue through this evening, with minimum RH values near 50 percent. Mixing heights between 4.2 and 5.0 kft. Thursday, light southerly winds are expected. Scattered shower and thunderstorm activity will develop during the mid afternoon hours, with the majority of activity in central Wisconsin and southwestern Wisconsin. During the evening to overnight hours, a cold frontal passage will push west to east and produce widespread showers and thunderstorms. A few storms in the afternoon and evening could be strong, with gusty and erratic winds. Expect minimum RH values in the 50s once again, with mixing heights up to 5.0 kft. Friday, showers and thunderstorms are expected through much of the day. Expecting RH values above 60 percent for the entire region. Southwesterly winds in the morning turn northwesterly during the afternoon.
