Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Additionally, winds and critically dry humidities could allow for new and existing fires to grow rapidly out of control. Outdoor burning is banned during fire season. * AFFECTED AREA...For the Red Flag Warning today: All of Fire Weather Zone 281. For the Fire Weather Watch on Tuesday: Portions of Fire Weather Zone 281 from Weed northward. * THUNDERSTORMS...Thunderstorms are expected again today. Lightning strikes outside of precipitation cores are possible and cause for concern. * OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusts up to 35 mph. These outflow winds can travel up to 50 miles away from the thunderstorm that caused it. * ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...Thunderstorms will be a mix of wet and dry storms.
