056 FNUS86 KMFR 041204 FWLMFR ECCDA Discussions for Yreka and Modoc California Dispatch Areas NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEDFORD OR 504 AM PDT Thu Jul 4 2024 ECC002-050615- West Yreka- Discussion for Western Klamath 504 AM PDT Thu Jul 4 2024 ...Near critical fire weather possible daily through the weekend for much of northern California... A strong thermal trough will remain in place through this morning, bringing moderate to poor recoveries to ridges. The pattern transitions today as northeast flow weakens and strong high pressure persists into next week. Very hot temperatures and very low daytime humidities are expected through this time. Meanwhile, even typical afternoon winds combined with these low humidities will lead to elevated, near critical, fire weather conditions during the afternoons/evenings. Enhanced afternoon breezes are possible this weekend, leading to the chance for critical fire weather conditions. $$ ECC102-050615- East Yreka- Discussion for Eastern Klamath 504 AM PDT Thu Jul 4 2024 ...Near critical fire weather possible daily through the weekend for much of northern California...
