...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING
FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 280 AND
281...

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TO 8 PM PDT TUESDAY FOR
STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RH FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE 281...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon as
low pressure offshore pumps moist unstable air into the region.
This low pressure will track northward on Tuesday and thunderstorm
chances will move north of the OR/CA border. The concern will
shift to strong gusty south winds across northern California for
Tuesday and this will lead to near critical conditions when
combined with low daytime humidities. More typical summer
conditions are expected from Wednesday onward.
