...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern Miami-Dade
and southern Broward Counties through 1215 PM EDT...

At 1149 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud over Sunny
Isles Beach, or near Hallandale, moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes
         or waterspouts.

Locations impacted include...
Miami, Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Miami Beach,
Coral Gables, Surfside, Hallandale, Miami Gardens, North Miami, North
Miami Beach, Aventura, Dania Beach, Miami Lakes, Hialeah Gardens,
Sunny Isles Beach, Opa-Locka, West Park, and Miami Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or
waterspouts. Move indoors and stay away from windows.
