...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Collier, northern Mainland Monroe and central Miami-Dade Counties
through 330 PM EDT...

At 252 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm near Fortymile Bend, or 22 miles northwest of
Homestead General Airport, moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Shark Valley Obs Tower, Loop Road Ee Center, Fortymile Bend,
Everglades National Park, and Big Cypress National Preserve.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
