This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Heat: Peak heat indices between 105 and 110 degrees can be expected this
afternoon over South Florida. A heat advisory is in effect through
8PM for all of South Florida.

Rip Currents: There is a moderate risk of rip currents for the
Atlantic Coast beaches today.

Thunderstorms: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over
primarily Interior and SW Florida this afternoon. The main threats
with any storms will be locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will be possible each day. The
strongest storms could produce gusty winds and heavy downpours. Slow storm
motions could also result in localized flooding, particularly near the
metro areas.

Heat indices over 100 degrees will be possible each day, with peak
values up to 110 possible for primarily SW and Interior Florida late this
week into the upcoming weekend.
