In general, a light to moderate easterly wind flow will return to most of the region on Wednesday and will remain in place through the end of the week. This will result in a typical summertime pattern for the rest of the week, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing along the sea breezes as they push inland. The highest chances of showers and thunderstorms will remain over the interior and western areas each afternoon and evening.
