...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN EDDY COUNTY THROUGH
1130 PM MDT...

At 1106 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Carlsbad Caverns National Park, or 20 miles northeast of Pine
Springs, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Lincoln National Forest, and Queen.
