198 FPUS74 KLUB 170316 NOWLUB Short Term Forecast National Weather Service Lubbock TX 1016 PM CDT Tue Jul 16 2024 TXZ021>026-170430- Parmer-Castro-Swisher-Briscoe-Hall-Childress- Including the cities of Friona, Bovina, Farwell, Dimmitt, Hart, Tulia, Happy, Silverton, Quitaque, Turkey, Memphis, Childress, and Kirkland 1016 PM CDT Tue Jul 16 2024 .NOW... An outflow boundary will bring a northerly wind shift and wind gusts up to 50 mph to most of the far southern Texas Panhandle through 1130 PM. In addition, scattered showers and thunderstorms may also develop along and ahead of this boundary, with the stronger storms capable of producing wind gusts up to 55 mph and brief downpours. The highest storm coverage is expected to be over Hall and Childress Counties through 1130 PM, with lesser coverage further west. $$
