Through 11am... Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue to increase in coverage and intensity generally east of a line from Tahoka to Childress. The stronger storms will be capable of brief heavy rain and wind gusts to 40 mph. Rainfall rates of up to one inch per hour will be possible as storms drift northeast at 5 to 10 mph. $$
