Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue to increase in
coverage and intensity from the western South Plains into the
northern Rolling Plains and extreme southeastern Texas Panhandle.
These storms are expected to be pulse-like in nature and generally
exhibit slow storm motions with frequent lightning. Upon
collapsing, wind gusts to 60 mph will be possible in the vicinity
of the remnant storm core. A general trend of increasing coverage
is expected into this evening.
