...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT HARRISON...FLOYD AND CENTRAL
MEADE COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM EDT...

At 709 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Corydon to 11 miles west
of Brandenburg. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Louisville, New Albany, Corydon, Brandenburg, Galena, Greenville,
Lanesville, Elizabeth, Crandall, and New Middletown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
