Daily chances of showers and storms are in the forecast Wednesday through Friday. Some could be strong to severe. The best chances of storms and the best chances of severe weather arrive Thursday and Friday. The main threats from the storms, besides lightning, will be locally torrential rain and gusty winds. Moderate drought has formed over parts of southern Indiana from the Hoosier National Forest eastward to the Ohio border. Hopefully this week`s storms will bring much needed rainfall.
