529 WGUS84 KLIX 132129 FLSLIX Flood Advisory National Weather Service New Orleans LA 429 PM CDT Sat Jul 13 2024 LAC051-071-075-087-132330- /O.NEW.KLIX.FA.Y.0056.240713T2129Z-240713T2330Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Jefferson LA-Orleans LA-Plaquemines LA-St. Bernard LA- 429 PM CDT Sat Jul 13 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard. * WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 429 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area with intense rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour at times. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
