Conditions were mostly calm across western and north central
Nebraska last night, before an area of showers and thunderstorms
moved in shortly after sunrise. Overnight temperatures ranged from
the upper 40s to lower 60s across the region, with light and
variable winds.

Today, multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected,
with severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon into the
evening. Temperatures will climb into the 80s ahead of
thunderstorms this afternoon. Winds will mostly be out of the
south at 10 to 15 miles per hour, but may be erratic and gusty
with thunderstorms.
