Issued by NWS North Platte, NE
442 FNUS53 KLBF 062019 FWFLBF Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western and North Central for Nebraska National Weather Service North Platte NE 319 PM CDT Sat Jul 6 2024 .DISCUSSION... Isolated rain showers are expected on Sunday with drier weather moving in for next week as high pressure builds into Nebraska. However, plenty of low level moisture due to recent rainfall will keep afternoon RH values above 30 percent through Monday. RH values begin to drop across southwest Nebraska and the Panhandle on Tuesday, but should still remain above 20 percent. Therefore, fire concerns remain low at this time.
