...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Kentucky, including the
  following counties, Bath, Fleming and Rowan.

* WHEN...Until 615 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3.5 inches of
    rain have fallen in the last 6 hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Morehead, Owingsville, Marshall, Sharkey, Hilda, Ramey,
    Ringos Mills, Farmers, Moore`s Ferry, Munson, Hays Crossing,
    Grange City, Cranston, Polksville, Rodburn, Waltz, Wyoming,
    Peasticks, Triplett and Slate Valley.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
