145 WGUS83 KJKL 041746 FLSJKL Flood Advisory National Weather Service Jackson KY 146 PM EDT Thu Jul 4 2024 KYC011-069-205-042045- /O.NEW.KJKL.FA.Y.0046.240704T1746Z-240704T2045Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Bath KY-Fleming KY-Rowan KY- 146 PM EDT Thu Jul 4 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central Kentucky, including the following counties, Bath, Fleming and Rowan. * WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 146 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Morehead, Owingsville, Marshall, Sharkey, Hilda, Ramey, Ringos Mills, Farmers, Moore`s Ferry, Munson, Hays Crossing, Grange City, Cranston, Polksville, Rodburn, Waltz, Wyoming, Peasticks, Triplett and Slate Valley.
